ARUA CITY PREPARES FOR THE SUB-COUNTY NRM PARTY STRUCTURE ELECTIONS, AS THE PARTY REINSTATES THE FORMER SUB-COUNTIES.

Arua city is getting set for the    NRM party structure election at the sub-county level, after the NRM secretariat communicated that, the former sub-counties in the city will be reinstated to build its party structure.
This pronouncement was made in a meeting at the NRM secretariat on the 19th of May this year.

The party registrar for Arua city, Tom Amagu says, the road map is the only thing remaining for the organization of the elections, “Instead of having the structures at division level which was central and Ayivu division, they have gone down to the formers sub-counties, so what we are waiting for is just the road map, when it’s supposed to be, and how it’s supposed to be done, “said Amagu.

He confirms that, the exercise is delayed by logistical challenges which will be resolved accordingly, “You know they prepared for elections in two divisions now they have become nine, it comes with financial implications where they have to allocate more funds, and those are the logistics that is delaying the road map” Amagu said.
 
The registrar called for calm among the members of the community, and encourages those who are interested in the positions to begin paying the nomination fee,
The NRM sub-county party structures are of importance to the party, as they consider or adopt a common position on any party business before the matter goes ahead and the party uses them for mobilization
