Schools across the country officially broke off for the fast term holidays on Friday, 5th of May 2023, and second term is expected to resume on 29th of May this year.

Madam Gloria Bako, the deputy head teacher incharge of administration calls upon the children to be supportive to their parents during the holidays, and expects the parents to guide them properly. “Please stay at home and support your parents, parents should also guide these children when they are at home, they really need guidance, “said Bako

Opionjia Gloria, a senior five student in St Mary’s Ediofe girls’ secondary school plans to balance her time for studies and other productive activities, and expects her colleagues to keep safe during the holidays. “Am planning to do my assignments and help my parents as well, I will have to make a timetable.
