West Nile Province has summoned a 20-man squad to prepare for the first leg of their quarterfinal clash against Bunyoro Province in the FUFA Drum. The highly anticipated encounter will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Royal Park Butema in Hoima.
According to the squad list released by the West Nile Province management on Monday, March 16, 2026, the team features a mix of experienced players drawn from clubs competing in the Uganda Premier League and the FUFA Big League.
Karim Toko explained that most of the summoned players are still engaged with their respective clubs and will join the provincial team in phases ahead of the match.
“The players right now are with their parent clubs, but those whose games are done will report to Arua for about two days before we set off for Hoima,” Karim said. The province’s head coach, Ahmed Borini Olima, said his main objective is to guide the team to the final of the competition.
“This is my first time leading the province team, and my focus is to ensure the players are well-prepared, work together as a unit, and give their best on the field,” he said. West Nile booked their place in the quarterfinals after defeating Bugisu Province 2–0 at Mbale Municipal Stadium on January 4, 2026.
